HOMEWORK SCHEDULE

 

The following schedule is based on a typical week, although there may be a few changes as needed.

 

 

Monday                Read for 45 minutes

                             Rewrite missed Spelling words or Math

 

Tuesday              Language Arts

 

Wednesday        Math

 

Thursday             Spelling     

                             Get Assignment Sheet Signed and RETURN FRIDAY

 

 

In addition to daily assignments, there is usually a monthly book report or occasionally some kind of project. These may not be excused with a missing assignment pass!

 

 

HOMEWORK POLICIES

 

All homework is due at the beginning of the following day that it was assigned.  If homework was forgotten at home, or not completed and turned in, the student will stay in for recess to complete the assignment. It will be marked as “late”, although the grade will still be earned. If it is still not turned in, it will be marked as “missing” on the back of the weekly assignment sheet, and a “zero” score will be entered. A “Missing Assignment” green slip, stating the reason for the missing work, should be attached to the assignment sheet going home on Thursday.

 

Assignment sheets are due back on Friday morning, signed by the parent or guardian. If work is missing, it will be circled on the front of the assignment sheet, so that you are aware of which assignment is missing.
