Dear Timberwolf Family:
Welcome
back! We’re happy to have our past students
returning to school and would like to offer a special welcome to the new students and parents joining our
neighborhood.
We want
your child to be happy and successful at Evergreen Heights and believe that
you play a key role. That role is to continually show interest in and support
for your child. The child who knows that his or her family is interested in and
supports the school program will almost always have fewer problems in school
and will enjoy greater success.
We believe
in fair and consistent discipline that encourages students to be responsible
for themselves. At school, we try to create a safe environment where courtesy
and kindness prevail and where there is respect for differences in other
people, customs and cultures.
Please
share with your child’s teacher any information regarding his or her special
needs that will help us better serve your family. We believe that communication
among parents, students and teachers is critical in assuring student success.
I'm looking forward to another fabulous school year and please remember:
Don’t Quit
When things go wrong as they sometimes
will
When the road you are trudging seems all up hill.
When money is low and debts are high
And you want to smile, but you’re about to cry.
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you have to, but do not quit.
Life is weird with its twists and turns
As every one of us sometimes learns.
And many a failure turns about
You might have won, had you stuck it out.
Don’t give up if the pace seems slow
You may succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned inside out
It’s the silver lining in the clouds of doubt.
You never can tell how close you are
It may be near when it seems so far.
Soooo, stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit
It’s when things seem worst that you must not Quit. Anonymous
Sincerely, Mrs. Anne Gayman
