Dear Parents/Guardians,
As your child’s sport season begins, the Olympic coaching staff would like to strongly encourage parents and fans to attend their games and contests. This letter is an opportunity to go over some expectations Olympic has for its spectators at all sporting events.
At Olympic we are continuing to implement the “Just Play Fair” program. The “Just Play Fair” program promotes good citizenship and sportsmanship behavior. It is important that as adults we show our children good sportsmanship, poise, encouragement and support in a positive manner. Please refrain from negative comments directed at the officials, coaches, scorekeeper, other teams, and teammates of son/daughter. Also remember, when you are at another middle school (Mt. Baker, Cascade, Rainier, N. Tapps) you are representing Olympic.
Below this letter is the spectator code developed to encourage all fans to maintain the highest level of safety and sportsmanship conduct at all sporting events.
