Grading Policy:  

 

 

   My grading policy is as follows: Students may correct any paper to improve their grade. 

Daily work may be corrected for full credit (A). Any student that fails a test may correct

it for a passing grade (C).  No student should receive less than a C unless they choose not

to improve their work.

   Any paper with a score below C is returned with the word “fix” on it.  Names are placed

on the board for anyone with a late paper.  Students may lose part of their recesses or be

asked to take papers home if they have late papers.

 

Letter grades are as follows:

 

A  Student work is outstanding.

B  Student work is very good.

C  Student work is satisfactory.

D  Student work needs improvement.

F  Student is failing.

+ Strong performance.

Ö  Satisfactory performance.

-  Needs improvement.
