Welcome to the 2009-2010 School Year!

·WALK TO SCHOOL DAY -Join us Wednesday, Oct. 7th at the Main Street Market to walk to school. We will meet at 7:45 and begin walking at 7:50. Those students who ride the bus will be able to participate once they arrive at school. All students must be accompanied by an adult to participate in the walk from Main Street Market.

·Capital Improvements Levy - Prop 1 - On Tuesday, November 3, 2009, residents of the Auburn School District will be asked to vote on Prop 1 which is a $64.4 million capital improvements levy. This levy is necessary to fund repairs and essential improvements at 19 schools and 6 support facilities, including Washington Elementary. ·REGISTER TO VOTE - Did you know that you are able to register to vote at Washington? Please see Kathy or Lorraine in the office for the registration forms.

·NO SCHOOL - No school Friday, October 9th.
