MULTIPLICATION ZONEYour children have
entered the Multiplication Zone! We are starting with the basic concept of
multiplying but will begin to build our skills rapidly. We have started
with 0’s through 2’s, then we will move on to 5’s, then 3’s, 4’s, 6’s and so on up to our
12’s.
PRACTICE, PRACTICE,
PRACTICE We will be spending a
large amount of time in Math class working on our multiplication facts.
However, please remember that your child is one of 21 children in our
classroom and will require extra practice at home
on their facts. I suggest making or purchasing a set of flash
cards to practice with at home at least a few
times each
week.

REPORTS
Progress reports for
the 2nd trimester will be sent home Friday, January 26th . They
were supposed to go home on the 19th as it will say on the
report, but as you know we were not in school that day. Please take a few
minutes to look it over with your student. Remember this is not a report
card but a glimpse of how your child is doing so far this trimester. If
you have any questions about the progress report, please call me at
931-4998 or email me at mailto:tbaker@mx.auburn.wednet.edu |
