RESPONSIBILITY
Our Explorer
word for October is Responsible.
Each week when your child brings back their homework they are being
responsible. When you notice
your child being responsible at home, (ex. doing chores, helping others
without being asked), please drop me a note telling me what he/she has
done!
PROGRESS
REPORTS Progress
reports will come home on the 9th.
I appreciate your involvement in discussing with your child how
they are doing at this time. For those who wish to improve
their grades before report cards come out this is the time to encourage
them to give their best effort and ask for help if they need
it. PARENTS+SCHOOL=SUCCESS Thank you
for the interest you show in your child’s papers. This helps reinforce the hard work
your child does and makes them feel each paper is worth doing their best
on! I really enjoyed meeting
each of you that were able to come to Open House in
September.
This year we
are so excited to have a brand new reading curriculum. It is called
Trophies. After much research our district decided that this program does
the best in integrating reading, language, and writing. I feel it does a
terrific job in teaching the Essential Learning Requirements that our
children need. |
