Academic Excellence

in grades 1 and 2, receive at least a satisfactory check mark for all subjects
and special classes. They must also receive at least a check in all Study

After School Activities
Washington School offers several different extra-curricular activities
for students. These often take place after school hours and students are
expected to arrange for their own transportation home. The school does
not provide this for students. Some of the activities we offer are:
Basketball:
For fifth grade.
Volleyball:
For fifth grade.
If you would like to see other activities offered, give your suggestions
to the principal, counselor, or your teacher. Students enjoy the different
activities. More information about each of these will be sent home later
in the school year. I hope you will be able to sign up and participate
in an activity this year.

projects and makes suggestions for changes and improvement. Representatives
are elected from each classroom in the fall. Students in grades 3 through
5 may be elected to serve as an officer. Elections are held in the fall.
