ARHS Forensic Team Earns Awards at
Federal Way High School Tournament

The Auburn Riverside High School  Forensic Team competed at the Federal Way High School Tournament on Friday and Saturday, January 18 and 19.  The following students earned awards:

• Janessa Lawhorn, Senior Expository, Second Place (state berth)

• Stephanie Martin, Senior Scripted Interpretation, Third Place, (state berth)

• Corrie Rondeau, Senior Humorous Interpretation, Finalist

• Alicia Crisp, Novice Scripted Interpretation, Finalist

• Gina Ostlund, Novice Oratory, Finalist

• Kara Davis, Novice Oratory, Finalist

• Katie Cumby, Novice Dramatic Interpretation, First Place

• Shaun Wood, Open Lincoln Douglas debate, Second place, (state berth and bid to the Tournament of Champions in Kentucky)

• Brad Pederson, Novice Lincoln Douglas debate, Third Place

• Luke Renner, Novice Lincoln Douglas debate, Fourth Place

• Jesse Willard, Novice Lincoln Douglas debate, Third Place
