Olympic Middle School Hosts Parent Workshop
on Thursday, January 16

Olympic Middle School parents are encouraged to attend a Parent Workshop on Thursday, January 16 from 5:30 to 8 p.m..  The event’s focus will be to provide parents with information that will successfully guide their students through the middle school years.  A dinner provided for participating parents will be followed by hour-long workshops.  Each parent has the opportunity to attend two of the following workshops: 1) Study Skills: Building Good Study Habits; 2) Step Up to Writing; 3) Reading with Your Middle School Student; 4) Cultural Awareness and Middle School Education; 5) Helping Your Child Survive His/Her Middle School Years; 6) Drug/Alcohol Use Recognition and Assistance: Helpful Hints for Parents; and 7) Safe Bus Riding on Metro.
