AHS Service Learning Students to be Honored by
Puget Sound Blood Center

The Auburn High School service learning students will be honored by the Puget Sound Blood Center for their support of blood donations at the Puget Sound Blood Center’s Annual Partners in Life Luncheon on Thursday, January 13 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Westin Hotel in downtown Seattle.

Auburn High School’s extraordinary support of the Blood Center through the High School Partnership Program has earned the students the award for the Most Donors Registered in a school year. During the 2003-2004 school year, the students gathered 846 volunteer blood donor registrations during their school and community-wide blood drives.

Auburn High School’s service learning students were lauded by the president and CEO of Puget Sound Blood Center, Dr. Richard B. Counts, “Your school serves as an excellent role model and an inspiration to others in the community.”
