Several Auburn Music Students Selected to Perform in
2005 All-Northwest Honor Groups

Several Auburn School District music students have been selected to perform in the 2005 All-Northwest Honor Groups on February 19 and 20 at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue. The following students have been selected to perform: Auburn High School - Bailey Goranson, 1st soprano; Megan Lindell, clarinet; Daniel Siegmund, trumpet; and Joy Farrell, clarinet, and Auburn Riverside High School - Kailey Mutter, mezzo soprano; Laneil Davis, mezzo soprano, and Beverly Ferguson, violin.

The students selected for this performance are considered the most musically talented high school students in the Northwest region of the United States. With the assistance from their music teachers, these exceptional students will have prepared challenging music that they will perform under the leadership of prominent conductors in this biennial event. Students will spend February 13-16 rehearsing with one of six conductors during the 2005 Northwest Division Conference of the National Association for Music Education (MENC) in preparation for the February 19 and 20, performances in the Meydenbauer Center.
