Gildo Rey Principal Receives Recognition by Peers

Robin Logan, principal of Gildo Rey Elementary School, was recently selected as the South King County Regional Distinguished Principal by the South King County Elementary Principals’ Association. Mrs. Logan’s nomination will also be submitted at the state level for recognition by the Association of Washington School Principals.

Two years ago, Mrs. Logan was selected by the Auburn School Board of Directors for its special recognition of staff because of her incredible contributions to public education. During her 24 years of serving in public education, Mrs. Logan has been a fourth and fifth grade teacher; a language arts specialist; and an assistant principal. Additionally, she has taught preschool, English-as-a-Second Language (ESL), and college-level courses. Ms. Logan has made multiple presentations on teaching writing, preparing for the Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL), and serving as a principal to other educational communities.
