Auburn School District's Post-Secondary Night Offers
Students and Parents
Options for Life Beyond High School
Auburn School District will be hosting its eleventh annual Post-Secondary Night on Thursday, February 15 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Auburn Mountainview High School. The event is free and open to the public. Students and parents from all district middle schools and high schools are encouraged to attend. Homeschool and private school students and parents are also encouraged to attend.
Students and parents will have an opportunity to explore the various post-secondary options available for high school graduates, such as community and technical colleges, four year public and private colleges and universities, career training programs, apprenticeship programs and military services.
The event will offer three break out sessions on numerous topics including admissions to four year public and private colleges and universities, and community and technical colleges; financial aid; college athletics; Tech Prep college credit available at the high schools; and Running Start/Advanced Placement options. Break out sessions will begin at 7:00 p.m.
In addition, there will be an information fair in the Commons where representatives from over 90 different colleges, universities, career schools, military services and apprenticeship programs will be ready to answer questions and share information.
