Gildo Rey Elementary School Wins Target Field Trip Grant

Gildo Rey Elementary School is the recipient of a $1,000 Target field trip grant. Gildo Rey fourth graders will take a field trip to explore the Fort Nisqually Living History Museum.

Located in Point Defiance Park, Fort Nisqually is a living history museum where volunteers and staff, in period clothing, demonstrate the crafts of the 19th century and engage visitors in historic dialogue during the Living History Days and other events throughout the year.
