5th Avenue Theatre Awards Program
Awards Auburn Riverside for Beauty and the Beast

On Monday, June 6, the 5th Avenue Theatre Awards Program awarded Auburn Riverside High School (ARHS) for its production of Beauty and the Beast with several awards. Kailey Mutter, an ARHS senior, won Outstanding Lead Actress. The school’s production also won Best Costumes and received a Special Honor for Community Outreach for Elementary School Assemblies promoting "Read Across America" month in March. The school’s drama department had other multiple nominations for its production of Beauty and the Beast: Outstanding Lead Actor- Ian Davidson; Honorable Mention for Supporting Female Actress- Laneil Davis; and Best Lighting Best Stage Crew.
