Auburn School Board of Directors Recognize
Lea Hill Elementary Fourth Grade Student

On Monday, June 13, the Auburn School District Board of Directors recognized Lea Hill Elementary School fourth grade student, Griffin Lamb. He has attended at Lea Hill Elementary since Kindergarten. “With every year, Griffin becomes more and more skilled at his strong interpersonal and academic skills. Griffin is certainly an outstanding student on all counts...caring, great effort and grades, athletic, and musically talented with an amazing singing voice,” said Lea Hill principal, Donna Dussault-Walker. Classroom teacher, Mary Mondt, shared, “Griffin was our leader of the Salmon Masters which involved developing a feeding schedule and being an expert salmon fact finder. He did this job with great enthusiasm, by igniting his fellow classmates to be careful observers and caretakers. His dedication and attention to details was impressive!” Griffin reaches out to all friends in need and is a friend to all. Griffin single-handedly began creating a poster for another Lea Hill 4th grade student when she underwent sudden brain surgery. He always works hard, has wonderful manners, and does his best on any task. Griffin gets along with others and has many friends. He is truly an outstanding person and student!
