Auburn Mountainview Band and Choir
Receive Superior Marks at Idaho Music Festival

On June 3, the Auburn Mountainview High School Jazz and Show Choirs and Wind and Jazz Ensembles competed at the Music in the Parks Festival in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. The students performed exceptionally, bringing home superior ratings and first place honors in the following categories: Show Choir, Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble.

To top off the great performances, the Jazz Ensemble took home the Overall Award for Most Outstanding Jazz Band.

Several soloists received special recognition for their individual performances: Michelle Happenny, tenor sax; Scott Amundson, trombone; Justis Tena, alto and bari sax; Jessie Kion, bass.
