Typically, a staff member will be posted at each drop-off point to supervise students. Teachers will escort their students from the classroom and proceed around the school while dropping off students at various drop-off points. These points are:
BACK GATE for students walking to Montiano, Evergreen, Eastpointe, Waterford, Sienna, Foxwood, Heatherwood, and Pinnacle.
THE EXIT NEAR THE 200 HALL for students walking to Ashton, lower Lakeland, Summit, and Woodvue.
THE DRIVE THROUGH PARENT LOOP which is located near the end of the 200 hall, and which borders the playground on Evergreen Way.
THE FLAG POLE for students using the crosswalk and walking to Sorano, Capri, Tuscany, Carrera, Viewridge, and Verona. The flag pole will also be a drop off point for students who meet their parents in the south parking lot.
THE BUS LOOP is located at the front of the school . No parent pick up will be permitted in this area. The Front Parking Lot will be used for busses and staff parking only. It will be closed for parent pick up before and after school.
THE SOUTH PARKING LOT
Student pick-up via car will be located in the south parking lot at the side of the school, not the front of the school. Students will be escorted to the south parking lot where they may meet their parents curbside. Cars may line up where the busses used to park along the curb. Cars may also line up along the island/sidewalk of this parking lot.
Students will not be permitted to walk into the south parking lot without an adult, so parents who are not curbside near the gym, will need to park their vehicle in a parking stall and meet their child on the curb. There will be a crosswalk to the south parking lot where parents may cross with their child.
Older siblings are not dismissed early to pick up younger siblings at their classrooms; instead, these older siblings will exit in the regular manner with their teachers and connect with the younger sibling at the drop-off points listed above.
