High School Students Honored at 
State Journalism Conference

At Auburn High School, three students on the school’s newspaper, Troy In’Voice, were honored for excellence at the state journalism conference held on Saturday, March 6.  Co-editor Jason Legaspi won a Superior in the Headline/Copyediting/Caption Writing category; co-editor Amelia Mann, won an Excellent in Feature Writing.  Senior staff member, Will Brandner, won an Excellent in Editorial Cartooning.

Three Auburn Riverside High School (ARHS) student journalists were also honored at the state journalism conference.  Ashley Pyle won an Honorable Mention for Advertising Design, Janai Speer took an Excellent for Feature Writing, Brady Huttenstine won a Superior  for Editorial Cartooning.  The ARHS student newsletter is InFlight.
