ARHS American Spirit Community Service Project
Qualified to Compete at Nationals SkillsUSA Competition

The Auburn Riverside High School American Spirit Community Service Project was recently presented by student Alexis Smith for judging at the Washington State SkillsUSA competition held on Thursday through Saturday, March 24 through March 26 at Western Washington University. Her project earned First Place and she is now qualified to compete at Nationals which takes place in June. The project involved a school-wide collaboration between several clubs to collect donations for troops serving in Iraq. The very successful drive garnered many useful items for the troops which were shipped on Veterans Day to Iraq.
