Rainier Seventh Grader to Represent His School
in State Level National Geographic Bee

Rainier Middle School seventh-grade student, Sam Brown, has qualified to represent his school as one of 100 finalists in the state level National Geographic Bee. Sam won his school’s competition in January and then took a written exam to see if he could be one of the 100 finalists for the state level. The State Bee will be held on Friday, April 1, at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma. One winner from Washington State will advance to the national competition in Washington D.C.
