Auburn Riverside High School Forensic Team
Captures Six National Slots

The Auburn Riverside High School Forensic Team competed at the National Speech Qualification Tournament on March 1-3. Team members earned an impressive 6 of 12 available individual event slots in the 2007 National Forensic League (NFL) National Tournament.

Nationals will be held on June 17-22 in the Derby/Wichita, Kansas School District. The following students beat out fellow competition to attend Nationals in the following events:

• Tara Low and Jack Peace in Oratory

• Joe Lawrence and Loren Folker in Humorous Interpretation

• Emily Angulo in Dramatic Interpretation

• Alaina Gordon and Jon Burdine, with Joe Lawrence and Tana Loan as 1st Alternate, in Dual Interpretation
