Former Auburn High School Student Competing
for Disney Dream Job

Brynne Geiszler, a 2003 graduate of Auburn High School, is graduating from the Cornish College of the Arts in May and hopes to land a dream job at Disney.

Brynne entered Disney’s 2007 Dream Job Contest at CareerBuilder.com for a chance to work as a Disney Pirate for a day. The four other honorary jobs she could have competed for were: Parade Performer, Haunted Mansion Butler/Maid, Jungle Cruise Skipper and Princess-in-Waiting.

Brynne created a video clip describing why she would be the best candidate for the Disney Pirate job. She was selected as 1 of 20 finalists. The top 5 entries in each honorary job category will be selected for an all-expense paid trip to Disneyland Resort for four. The winners will also perform the designated “Honorary Job” for a day.

The general public will determine who makes it to Disneyland by voting for their favorite contestants at http://www.careerbuilder.com/disneydreamjobs/home.asp.  The voting period runs from March 6-March 30.
