Auburn Riverside High School Cheer Squad Wins
WIAA Academic State Championship

The Auburn Riverside High School girls’ cheer squad captured the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) 2007-08 Winter Academic State Championship for 3A cheer.

Twenty students on the cheer squad studied diligently throughout the winter to maintain an average 3.52 GPA, the highest average GPA of any other 3A cheer squad.

The cheer squad will be recognized at the state basketball tournament the weekend of March 8-9.
