Auburn School District and Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce to Host
Greater Auburn Community Career Conference

On Tuesday, March 25, the Greater Auburn Community Career Conference for high school students will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Grace Community Church in Auburn.

The career conference is a partnership between the Auburn School District and the Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce. KeyBank, BECU, Boeing, Kiwanis of Auburn and Soroptimist Club are some of the conference sponsors. Approximately 50 businesses and post-secondary institutions will be on-site to participate in student interviews and provide informational career booths. Approximately 300 students from the Auburn, Enumclaw and Kent School Districts are expected to attend.

The purpose of the career conference is to expose students to a variety of career pathways and opportunities, as well as to help them gain firsthand knowledge and support from local businesses and leaders. This is sure to be an enthusiastic, worthwhile and enlightening experience for all who participate.
