Auburn Students Win Washington State PTA Reflections Awards

Three Auburn School District students won overall awards in the Washington State PTA Reflections program by submitting entries in the following categories:

Film/Video Primary Division

Award of Excellence: Dakota Young, Terminal Park Elementary School PTA

Film/Video Intermediate Division

Outstanding Interpretation: Marina Young, Terminal Park Elementary School PTA

Dance/Choreography Middle/Junior Division

Award of Excellence: Katie Hayward, Rainier Middle School PTSA

The Reflections program is a National PTA and Washington State PTA cultural arts competition. The purpose of the program is to provide an opportunity for students to use their creative talents by expressing themselves through their own original works. Each year Reflections challenges students to create art that supports a specific theme. Themes are selected from thousands of ideas submitted by students to the National PTA.
