Auburn School District Superintendent Search Begins

On Monday, March 3, the Auburn School District Board of Directors and Northwest Leadership Associates, the superintendent search firm, officially begin the search process for Auburn School District’s next superintendent.

Staff, students, parents and citizens are invited to participate in a survey that will assist the Board and search firm in developing the position description and leadership profile that will guide the selection of the next superintendent. No attempt will be made to link specific responses with the individual completing the survey. The survey can be accessed through the Auburn School District website: www.auburn.wednet.edu.

Superintendent Search Timeline

• Search begins/online survey launched: March 3, 2008

• Application deadline: April 7, 2008

• Interviews: April 21-May 1, 2008

• Selection: May 12, 2008

• New superintendent reports: July 1, 2008
