Taylor Vincent Selected as Auburn Rotary Student of the Month

On March 19, Taylor Vincent, a senior at West Auburn High School, was honored as Auburn Rotary’s student of the month for March.

Taylor has been a student in the West Auburn Learning Center for the past four years.  He is an exceptional student, frequently exceeding his goals. His teacher, Linda Myers, attributes Taylor’s success to his hard-working attitude and willingness to go the extra mile. Taylor is organized, systematic and has a keen sense of responsibility.

To date, Taylor has a 100 percent attendance rate this year. In the past four years, Ms. Myers only recalls Taylor being absent three times. He is a reliable student and always finishes what he starts.

Taylor is enrolled in the Running Start program at Green River Community College and will continue next fall after he graduates in June. Taylor hopes to pursue a career in software engineering. As an active member of Voc Ed Club, he volunteers countless hours to such civic and community organizations as the Auburn Parks and Recreation department, the Auburn Food Bank and the Auburn Chamber of Commerce/Auburn School District Career Fair.
