Audrey Cruickshank Selected as
Auburn's April Citizen of the Month
Audrey Cruickshank, administrative assistant to the deputy superintendent of Auburn School District, was selected by the Auburn Chamber of Commerce as the April Citizen of the Month. Ms. Cruickshank’s extraordinary commitment to her community was highlighted by the recognition. Ms. Cruickshank raised her three adult children and one of her grandchildren in Pacific, where she has lived most of her life. In the 1960s, Ms. Cruickshank and her mother, Marge Schulte, were very active in the community, participating in projects that supported families of special needs children. Their program was later integrated into the school district. Some of Ms. Cruickshank’s current community service activities include chairing of the Pacific Days in the Park for three consecutive years; serving on the Pacific Park Board, currently as the chairperson; volunteering for the Puget Sound Blood Bank; and co-chairing the Auburn High School class reunion for the 1950 for the last two years.
