Gildo Rey Elementary Receives Grant from
The Boeing Company
Gildo Rey Elementary School has received a $4,200 grant from The Boeing Company to fund the purchase Larson’s Software K-2nd Grade Math program. Teachers Adam Couch and Deanna Holbrook developed the grant proposal. Larson’s Math program is a highly motivating program. It challenges students to reach beyond their present levels of performance to master modules of instruction which support classroom objectives. It is aligned with the Everyday Math program and the Washington State Essential Academic Learnings.
