Two Auburn High School students, Justin Steik and Thomas Wilkes, assembled five donated General Motors engines and their stands in preparation for next year’s Engines class that is part of the Auto Technology Program. These engines were donated as part of the Auto Programs affiliation with Automotive YES and being a Master ASE/NATEF Certified Program. Auburn High School’s program is the only secondary program in the Northwest to hold the Master ASE/NATEF Certification.
These engines were provided by General Motors and shipped without any cost to the district.
