Two AHS Graduates Honored by PLU's
Sports Medicine Program

On Sunday, May 8, two Auburn High School graduates of the class of 2001, Jessica Patrick and Garrett Luettgen, were co-recipients of Pacific Lutheran University’s Dr. Stan Mueller Sports Trainer of the Year Award given to outstanding graduating PLU seniors. Both Garrett and Jessica will graduate this spring with overall GPA's of almost 3.9 and have been very involved with PLU’s sports medicine program. Both students were very involved with the Auburn High School sports medicine program instructed by Steve Calhoun. Jessica and Garrett have been accepted into highly competitive, prestigious graduate programs. Jessica will attend Washington State University's School of Veterinary Medicine and Garrett will attend the University of Washington’s School of Medicine.
