Auburn School District Awarded
Meals for Kids Grant

Auburn School District’s Child Nutrition Department’s Meals for Kids grant application was fully funded for $13,450 by the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI). The grant includes $10,210 for equipment specific to the district’s Summer Feeding Program (insulated transportation containers for hot and cold food items; lightweight portable serving tables and handheld radios - for communicating in/from the parks) as well as an additional $3,240 for staff training and program set up administration/coordination costs.
