Teachers-of-the-Year

Auburn School District has announced its Teacher-of-the-Year recipients: elementary level – Christine Anderson, language arts reading specialist teacher, Washington Elementary School; middle level- Jennifer Willson, sixth grade teacher, Olympic Middle School; and high school level – Karla Seman, drama teacher, Auburn Riverside High School. All three teachers were selected because of their dedication to students and their professional contributions to public education. On Monday, June 13, the Auburn School Board of Directors will be honoring the district’s Teachers-of-the-Year.

Ms. Karla Seman and Ms.Christine Anderson were also selected as the district’s nominations for the regional process administrated by the Puget Sound Educational Service District (PSESD). If selected by PSESD, one of the Teacher-of-the-Year candidates will proceed to the state-level.
