Two Seniors Selected as Washington Scholars

Auburn Riverside High School senior, Beverly Ferguson, and Auburn High School senior, Tyler Scott, have been selected as Washington Scholars. Every Washington State legislative district selects three students to receive a four-year scholarship that funds full tuition at any public four-year college in the state of Washington. The Washington Scholar program was established by the 1981 Legislature to honor three graduating high school seniors residing in each legislative district for their outstanding academic achievements, leadership, and community service.
