Auburn Mountainview High School Booster Club Awarded
Lowe's Toolbox for Education Grant

Auburn Mountainview High School was awarded a $5,000 Lowe’s Toolbox for Education grant to complement its athletic facilities. The school will be able to purchase heavy duty court chairs to use at indoor athletic events (volleyball, basketball, wrestling, gymnastics), as well as assemblies for academic awards and homecoming royalty.

The grant will also help to purchase an outdoor building structure to be used for concessions during outdoor athletic events. Groups who staff the concessions will be able to use the proceeds to benefit their programs. Additionally, students who work concessions can use their volunteer hours toward Auburn Mountainview’s new graduation requirement, which requires each student to volunteer a minimum of 12 hours.
