Auburn Mountainview High School Selects New
Marching Band Junior Drum Major

Jon Urmenita has been selected as Auburn Mountainview High School’s (AMHS) new marching band junior drum major.

Jon was among three candidates who underwent a rigorous application and two hour audition/interview process. Four judges deliberated following the process, unanimously selecting Jon as the top candidate for this prestigious position of leadership to commence in the 2007-08 school year. Jon exhibits strong leadership skills, interaction with marchers and command of respect, and outstanding interview skills.

Major Jon Urmenita will be working closely with senior drum major Michelle Happenny, the Auburn Mountainview band consultant staff, and director of bands Derek Pyle in making the third AMHS marching season more incredible than the first two.
