ARHS Forensic Team Competed Well at
Puyallup High School Viking Invitational

The Auburn Riverside High School Forensic Team competed very well in speech and debate at the Puyallup High School Viking Invitational held on Friday and Saturday, November 8 and 9.   The following students earned awards:

Dual Interpretation

•     Brad Pederson and Jesse Willard - Finalist

•     Cody Spann and Beverly Ferguson - Third Place and a state qualifier.

Expository Speaking

•     Roshni Nelson - Finalist

•     Janessa Lawhorn - Third Place and a state qualifier

•     Chelsea Ramsay - First Place and a state qualifier

Dramatic Interpretation

•     Stephanie Martin - Finalist

Interpretive Reading

•     Stephanie Martin - Finalist

•     Roshni Nelson - Third Place and a state qualifier

•     Taryn Heintz - Second Place and a state qualifier

Humorous Interpretation

•     Taryn Heintz - First Place and a state qualifier

Novice Interpretive Reading

•     Sara Glaze - Third Place
