ARHS Forensic Team Hosted Annual
Speech and Debate Tournament

The Auburn Riverside High School (ARHS) Forensic Team hosted its annual Speech and Debate Tournament on Friday and Saturday, November 18 and 19.  The following ARHS students earned awards:  Yuliya Yakimchuk, Open Expository speaking, First Place and a state bid; Ryan Mace, Open Expository speaking, Third Place and a state bid; Christine Pyle, Open Expository speaking, Fourth Place and a state bid; Alaina Gordon, Open Expository speaking, Finalist; Mason Riney, Open Expository speaking, Finalist; Jolene Keller, Open Interpretive reading, Third Place; Joe Lawrence, Open Humorous Interpretation, Second Place; and Kate Thomas, Open Oratory, Finalist.
