Adopt-a-Family

The Auburn Riverside High School Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) club is organizing an Adopt-a-Family drive in which high school students can participate. The drive is to provide holiday assistance to the growing number of families that require some assistance each year. Childhaven, a non-profit agency that protects abused children, has submitted 34 families to sponsor for the holiday season. The Childhaven information provided includes; the type of family, their names, gender age, needs, and hopes. The ARHS classes and clubs will collect non-perishable foods and gifts for the families. The items that the high school groups purchase will be collected by Friday, December 16.
