AHS Yearbook Staff Recognized for
Third Consecutive Year

The Auburn High School (AHS) Yearbook staff has been recognized for the third consecutive year by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association for excellence in journalism. The AHS yearbook was judged against rigorous, journalistic standards and was selected as one of the top books in the nation. This continues a tradition of excellence in the AHS yearbook program: the 2003 Invader yearbook received a bronze medal; the 2004 yearbook received a silver medal; and the Invader staff has earned a gold medal for volume 93, the 2005 yearbook. The editorial staff of the 2005 yearbook consisted of: Janel Brown, editor-in-chief; Rachel Richardson, assistant editor; and section editors - Jaylynn Markwald, Quincy Mortimer, Kelsey Konold, Monica Warnock, Julie Murphy, and Christine Nordstrom. Julie Bonefas was the yearbook advisor for Auburn High School for these editions. She is currently the Auburn Mountainview High School Activities Coordinator.
