ARHS Speech and Debate Team
Continues Tradition of Excellence

The Auburn Riverside High School (ARHS) Speech and Debate team continued the tradition of excellence at the Whitman College tournament over the weekend of November 4 - 6. Jack Peace and Tara Low tied for First Place in Oratory and with no way to break the tie, a coin was tossed and Tara took the first place trophy and Jack took the second. Jack also took First Place in Expository Speaking and Tara took Third Place in Interpretive Reading. Both Tara and Jack have qualified for the state tournament that will held in March. Mark Davis is the ARHS debate and speech advisor.
