Auburn Riverside High School Forensic Team
Competes at Puyallup High School Tournament

The Auburn Riverside High School Forensic Team competed at the Puyallup High School Forensic Tournament on Friday and Saturday, November 10 and 11. Nine team members earned overall awards:

• Erin Miles, finalist, novice oratory

• Rachel Van Rijn, 2nd place, novice interpretive reading

• Zach Bidman, finalist, novice Lincoln-Douglas debate and 2nd place novice impromptu

• Meagan Pries, 1st place, open interpretive reading and a state bid

• Joe Lawrence, 2nd place, open humorous interpretation and a state bid

• Jon Burdine, 2nd place, novice humorous interpretation

• Tara Low, 2nd place, open oratory and a state bid

• Tana Loan and Joe Lawrence, finalists, open dual interpretation

• Jack Peace, 3rd speaker in student congress
