School Board of Directors Recognize
Fifth Grade Student, Sara Williams

On Monday, October 22, the Auburn School District board of directors recognized Sarah Williams, a fifth grade student at Washington Elementary School, for her great effort in all she does.  “Sarah is bright and sweet and always gives 100% in her work. She gets along with all and tries to help others with their work when students are working in groups. She has a smile on her face constantly and always thinks positively,” says her teacher, Dianne Simms. Sarah turns in her work on time and pays attention to detail. She is also Safety Patrol Captain at school. Sarah’s favorite subjects are art, reading, math, writing, science, and social studies. Her hobbies are soccer, drawing, swimming, taking care of pets, and traveling with her family. She would like to be a dentist when she grows up.
