WSU Distinguished Scholars Scholarship Program

Two Auburn Riverside High School students, Brittny Jarmand (Distinguished Regents Scholar) and Benjamin Casad (Silver Scholar) and two Auburn High School students, Kendra Heier (Distinguished Regents Scholar) and Amanda Clark (Crimson Scholar), have been selected as Washington State University Regents Scholars.  Under this scholarship program, the Crimson Regents Scholars will receive $6,000 ($3,000 per year) and the Silver Regents Scholars will receive an $8,000 ($4,000 per year) for their first two years should they enroll at WSU in the fall of 2003.  The 25 Distinguished Regents Scholars will each receive a full four-year scholarship valued at more than $60,000.  This achievement is based upon the student being considered “the most accomplished and promising young scholars in the state of Washington.”
