Gildo Rey Students to Visit
Green River Community College

Fifth graders from Gildo Rey Elementary School will be visiting Green River Community College (GRCC) on Tuesday, October 28.  They will participate in lessons taught by college professors and have lunch on the campus as well as be introduced to a workbook about going to college.  This field trip is made possible by GRCC’s "Project Teach" and the workbooks and T-shirts for the students are provided by Northwest Education Loan Association’s program, "I am Going to College.”  Project TEACH (Teacher Education Alliance of Colleges and High Schools) is an innovative teacher-preparation program that provides high school, community college, and university undergraduate students with a “seamless transition into a teaching career.”
