NEWS RELEASE
Bob Kenworthy Collaborates in
Publication of Comprehensive Guide

Bob Kenworthy, Auburn School District capital projects coordinator, has collaborated with other members of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Editorial Advisory Board on a complete re-write of the CSI manual of practice.  The four-year process has culminated in the publication of The Project Resource Manual (PRM), fifth edition.  The PRM, published by McGraw-Hill, is a comprehensive guide for the process of planning, designing, documenting, contracting, constructing, and managing a facility.  It includes the information on which four national construction industry certification exams are based.  These exams cover the understanding and use of construction documents, preparation of specifications, construction administration procedures, and construction product representation.  Mr. Kenworthy was responsible for editorial review of the chapters addressing construction and facility management.  His contributions are recognized in the publication’s acknowledgments, “CSI is indebted to the vision and dedication of the members of the Manual of Practice Editorial Advisory Board, which diligently and ably guided the development of the PRM.”  Auburn School District’s capital projects department is currently working on construction of the new Auburn Mountainview High School which will open in September 2005.
