Auburn School Board of Directors

On Monday, October 25, the Auburn School Board of Directors will recognize Kailey Mutter, Auburn Riverside High School senior, for being a multi-talented student.  Kailey has been incredibly active in her high school.  Her list of activities and achievements include: 2004 Homecoming Queen; female lead in the musical, “Pippin”; track and field athlete; jazz choir member; and strong academic student with a high GPA while taking AP courses.  Kailey has also been a cheerleader for four years; three of those years, she was a varsity cheerleader and is currently the captain of the fall squad.  “Her friends and the student body adore her,” says Donna Harris, ARHS cheer coach.  Kailey’s acting and singing talents are great. “Kailey …was honored by the 5th Avenue Theatre in its High School Musical Awards Program as one of the top eight lead actresses…out of 40 high school productions from across the state for her part in “Pippin”.  Kailey performed live on the 5th Avenue stage during the awards program,” said ARHS drama teacher, Karla Seman.  “Kailey has an exceptional vocal talent…She auditioned for the All Northwest Choir, and we are all anxiously awaiting the results of her audition CD,” said ARHS choral teacher, Linda Fahlgren.  Kailey was recently honored by the Auburn Rotary as the October Student-of-the Month.
