Nancy Zehnder Elected Twice into
Washington State Coaches Association Hall of Fame

Nancy Zehnder, retired Auburn High School physical education teacher and coach, has the prestigious honor of being elected twice into the Washington State Coaches Association Hall of Fame for two sports - volleyball and softball. Although it has been 10 years since Ms. Zehnder coached softball, she was one of the few high school coaches whose teams had won multiple state championships in softball before it changed from slowpitch to fastpitch. Ms. Zehnder has recently been selected to be inducted into the Hall of Fame for her outstanding career as a volleyball coach. On Saturday, November 12, Ms. Zehnder will be inducted at a luncheon into the Hall of Fame for softball and then in the evening she will be inducted into the Hall of Fame for Volleyball at the state volleyball tournament in Everett.
